Absolute Beginners Level
This level introduces students to the basic structures and grammatical points they will need in everyday situations.Topics are taught at this level include the following:
Exchanging greetings
Making simple introductions; asking who other people are; addressing people correctly; saying where you come from and what nationality you are
Talking about yourself and your family; asking other people about their family
Learning how to say days of the week and months of the year; telling the time; asking what time it is
Introducing Chinese characters and recognition of some important characters
At the end of these topics students are able to consolidate their knowledge in vocabulary and grammar, and build their confidence in speaking and reading skills.
